Why walk with me?

Island Knowledge

I moved to Tenerife in 2024 and walk here every Sunday. I know where the path opens to a view no one expects, which trails the maps don't show, and where the forest goes quiet enough to hear only the wind.

Pure Pilgrim

I walked the Camino Francés twice. Not as a professional with a badge. As a pilgrim. When you walk the Camino, all titles fall away. You are just a person with boots and a path. That is the spirit I bring to every walk.

The Nature of Tenerife

I organise these walks for people who love nature. Not to show you a postcard. To let you feel what Tenerife actually is on foot: volcanic rock, ancient laurel forests, the Atlantic horizon. Nature the way you never experience it at home.

Tailored Pacing

Every walk is adapted to your rhythm. The point is not just to reach the destination, but to fully experience every step along the trail.

English. German. Dutch.

I guide fluently in all three languages. Whether you come from London, Amsterdam, or Munich, there is no language barrier on the trail. Just good conversation as you walk.

Meet your guide

One person, walking beside you.

I guide one small group at a time. No crowds, no rush. I walked the Camino Francés twice and moved to Tenerife because of what this island does to you when you slow down and go on foot.

What is Camino Tenerife?

Camino Tenerife is a five-day guided walk across Tenerife, from the Teide volcano at 2,150 metres down to the Atlantic at Puerto de la Cruz. I guide small groups of up to six walkers. The route, four nights of accommodation, and the stories along the way are all included.

How fit do I need to be?

You should be in good general health and comfortable walking around 20 km a day. There is no technical climbing involved, but the mountain trails do have steady ups and downs. The pace is natural, with time every day to rest, take photos, and simply look.

How much does the five-day Camino cost?

The five-day Camino costs €997 per person when two walkers book together and share a room, €1,097 if you join a group as a solo walker, and €1,797 for a fully private walk. Guiding, route planning, and all four nights of accommodation are included. You reserve your place with a €400 deposit.

When is the best time to walk on Tenerife?

Year round. Tenerife has no bad season, only different ones. Spring brings flowers to the high slopes, summer stays cooler up in the mountains, autumn is quiet and golden, and in winter you can look up at snow on Teide while walking in sunshine by the coast.

How do I book a place?

Pick a start date on the dates and availability page and reserve it with a €400 deposit. The rest is paid closer to departure. If you would rather talk first, send me a message on WhatsApp and I will answer personally.
