Camino Tenerife. Guided Walks

"The power of the small step. A lot of small steps gets you extraordinary distances. If you keep taking those small steps."

How I got here

From Hannover to the Island of Fire

I was born in 1977 in Hannover, Germany. I speak German and Dutch as mother tongues, and English as a third language that became a daily one. For most of my life, walking was just something I did on weekends.

In 2023 I walked the Camino Francés for the first time. Alone. Eight hundred kilometres from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port to Santiago de Compostela. When I finished, I understood why people do it more than once. It can be a life-changing experience. The nature, the people, the challenge, you with yourself. So I decided to share this with my son. In 2025 we did it together. Our Two-Generation Walk. In the meantime, in November 2024 I moved to Tenerife. The island caught me in a way I hadn't expected. The paths here are extraordinary. Beautiful nature with stunning views. This is what I want to share with you.

2023 alone. 2025 with my son Jason.

The first Camino was about finding out if I could do it. I could. One step at a time, across all of Spain, with only my thoughts and the path ahead.

The second time I walked it with my son Jason. We called it the two-generation walk. Father and son, same path, the same blisters and the same awe. To hand something over that means everything to me, that is a feeling I cannot describe. You have to walk it to understand.

"People who love to walk love nature, and love to connect. I want to share the beautiful places Tenerife has to offer with people who feel the same."
